Louis’s Professional Experience
From Technician to Transformational Leader
Louis’s journey is a blueprint for turning adversity into advantage and vision into results. With no formal business background, he entered the workforce straight out of high school as a technician, but with an unstoppable work ethic and entrepreneurial drive, he developed a highly successful home services company, driving innovation and operational efficiency with Bruno Air Conditioning. He built the business from scratch to $3 million in monthly revenue within 30 months. In 2019, Louis exited the company, transitioning to investment and advisory roles.
Louis’s next venture was serving as an M&A Leader with Air Pros USA, a leading HVAC company, for three years. He expanded the business from one to 18 locations in three years through strategic acquisitions, led the acquisition strategy and operational integration, ensuring seamless scalability, and achieved a profitable exit in 2022, passing operations off to the leadership team. His approach was to move fast, think long-term, and build infrastructure that scales.
Louis joined Houston-based Platform Partner Holdings as Co-General Partner in 2022, rapidly growing the firm to 33 partners and $200 million in annual revenue in three years. The private investment firm partners with founders and executives of companies with enterprise values typically between $25 million and $250 million.
Driving strategic growth and private equity investments in home services and multi-location businesses, Louis established the company as a dominant force in operator-led private equity groups. His leadership isn’t just about growth—it’s about multiplying the success of others. Louis has mentored and advised owner-operators on scaling, liquidity events, and operational excellence.
Louis has also redefined what’s possible in the home service industry. By integrating predictive analytics and machine learning, he’s introduced a new era of owner-operator education, enabling over 11,000 owners and key managers to manage through data, not guesswork. He also co-created the first online best practice group to deliver actionable insights and education daily, impacting businesses nationwide.

Resiliency in the Face of Adversity
Perhaps Louis’s most defining trait is his resilience. After his first exit in 2019, Louis faced unfounded accusations in 2020. Rather than retreat, he faced the challenge head-on, was fully exonerated in 2021, and finalized a successful exit from Air Pros USA the following year, proving that true leadership is forged in adversity.
Today, Louis is more than an entrepreneur. He’s a venture capitalist, mentor, speaker, and author, focused on building businesses that endure, empowering founders who are ready to scale, and helping decision-makers make their next bold move.
Louis, throughout his career, has found inspiration and guidance in the writings of several books by the most influential thinkers, entrepreneurs, and strategists of our time. They have inspired Louis by challenging him to take full ownership of his potential, to think outside the box, and to act boldly.
